Johnson, who made ‘Bon Qui Qui‘ a household name after debuting the character on MADtv (with over 70 million YouTube views), and for her iconic ‘Nail Salon‘ stand-up comedy act (viewed over 35 million times), riffs on everything from home invasions to massages and spiders. Premiering on Friday, September 29th at 10pm on MGM’s EPIX, Anjelah Johnson: Mahalo and Goodnight will bring a hilarious take on events in Johnson‘s life.

Anjelah Johnson became an Internet sensation and pioneer in viral YouTube videos when her legendary “Nail  Salon” bit from a local LA stand-up show was posted online and received over 4 million views within one day.
Just a few months later, Anjelah booked a role performing sketch comedy on the original MADtv, where she first trademarked her legendary character ‘Bon Qui Qui‘.
Anjelah has sold out comedy shows across the country, she has previously filmed three hugely successful comedy specials for Comedy Central and Netflix, landed a record deal with Warner Brothers Records as ‘Bon Qui Qui,’ has appeared as the gorgeous face of multiple ad campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, guest starred on television including on “Ugly Betty” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and on the silver screen.
Anjelah currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, musician Manwell Reyes of the band Group 1 Crew.
