Beyoncé Teases Early Streetwear Design By Burberry’s New Chief Creative Officer

Burberry’s new chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci will be unveiling his first runway show for the brand during London Fashion Week in September.

For those wondering what Tisci might have up his sleeves, the designer has released a sneak peak that might excite you.

Tisci created a custom-made outfit especially for Beyoncé, who has been making waves with her latest cover for Vogue’s September issue.

She was seen wearing Tisci’s spin on the iconic Burberry checkered print during her ‘On the Run II’ tour.

This makes her the first A-lister to publicly wear Tisci’s design for the British luxury brand. Beyoncé looked streetwear chic in the Burberry bodysuit, cropped jacket and knee-high boots.

This ensemble also marks the departure from the luxury brand’s classic look.

Tisci took over Christopher Bailey to become Burberry’s new CCO in March. His takeover came with a new logo as well as a monogram for Burberry.
