Beauty for Freedom‘s mission to empower and nurture survivors of human trafficking through arts therapy and the creative arts and to fundraise to take care of basic needs, educational needs and recovery for survivors globally is more relevant now than ever.

Your contribution helps us continue to make that mission a reality!
This year, Beauty for Freedom has provided art therapy courses and self-defense classes to over 150 young survivors of sex trafficking in Mumbai, India through our Project India initiative.
Additionally, our team was able to donate over $10,000 in self-care items and gifts to these young women.
This year, to sustain and grow our empowerment initiatives through the arts, Beauty for Freedom partnered with Challenging Heights teaching an arts therapy initiative featuring photography, watercolor painting and mural workshops to over 300 youth at the CH Friends International Academy and 58 young survivors of labor trafficking currently housed in the recovery program at The Hovde House Rescue Center.
Beauty for Freedom brought in over 150 lbs of art supplies and professional DSLR camera equipment the youth used to create original artwork in the workshop series.

This year, a huge part of our Beauty for Freedom platform included a mentoring and teaching program for high school students engaging them directly in the fight to end sexual violence and trafficking globally through their artwork and united voices for Denim Day NYC!

Our team of ambassadors and mentors guided the students and taught a 3 month fashion design course that culminated in a photographic and video campaign featuring the incredible designs of the
City-As-School High School Design Students.
These youth had a unique opportunity to be advocates for survivors of sexual and domestic violence that made a positive and lasting impression.
