Actress Ana de la Reguera who currently stars on the hit Starz show “POWER” and is set to star as the female lead opposite Billy Bob Thornton on the award-winning Amazon series “GOLIATH.”

“Twin Peaks” (SundaysShowtime).
She will next be seen on a series arc of the 50-Cent produced Starz series “Power”(Season 4 finale is Sunday, September 3) and was just cast as series lead opposite Billy Bob Thornton in the second season of Amazon‘s highly praised drama series“Goliath” from David E. Kelley and Jonathan Shapiro, set for an early 2018 premiere.
In “Goliath” De la Reguera will play ‘Marisol Silva,’ a city councilwoman from the seamier side of Venice, in the race to be the first Latina mayor of Los Angeles.
When a Caucasian boy from Brentwood is killed on her turf, Marisol doesn’t hesitate to point out the double standard in which a rich white outsider gets far more police and media attention than indigenous murder victims.
She can’t help but admire Billy‘s (Thornton) fighting spirit, not to mention his touching and absolute belief in his client’s innocence.
Goliath,” created by David E. Kelley and Jonathan Shapiro, won a “Best Actor in a Drama Series” Golden Globe in January for Thornton and is expected to premiere its highly anticipated second season early 2018.

De la Reguera also currently co-stars in David Lynch’s tight-lipped remake of the cult-favorite TV series “Twin Peaks”(Sundays, Showtime).
 Considered one of the most groundbreaking and influential broadcast series of all time, “Twin Peaks” followed the residents of a quaint northwestern town who were stunned when homecoming queen Laura Palmer was murdered.
The new series picks up 25 years later. De la Reguera will additionally be seen on the 50 Cent executive produced Starz series “Power” which is currently airing Season 4 Sundays on Starz.
Most recently, de la Reguera co-starred in Netflix’s hit crime-drama Golden Globe-nominated series “Narcos”, as “Elisa,” a leader with the guerrilla extremists who is also a real woman of the “Comuna” working with children in her community.
Season one premiered to huge ratings and critical acclaim with Vulture declaring it “among the top five shows Netflix has put out to date,” NY Daily News calling it “addictive,” and Fortune describing it as “great entertainment and a satisfying binge-watching experience.”
