Whether lighting up an indie or starring in a sure-to-be-a-hit TV series, Briana Lane is the most electric talent to storm into Hollywood and is a force to be reckoned with as she gears up to take over television sets and movie screens, appearing in an upcoming episode of the new hit FOX series “9-1-1” on Wednesday, February 28th, appearing this fall in the film ONE NATION UNDER GOD opposite Casper Van Dien and Kevin Sorbo, and working on new music with fellow actress and bandmember Kate Miner (“Necessary Roughness”), who record music and perform in the band Winslow (@thebandwinslow) when they’re not on set.
The multi-faceted and compellingly beautiful newcomer is heralded as one of the most favorable young actresses working today for a reason.
Lane is making a big impression
with roles on the small screen in everything from NBC’s “The New Normal,” Freeform’s “Switched at Birth,” and “Young & Hungry,” to writing her own comedy pilot “Bri Squared” with actress Brianne Davis (History’s “Six”) and she’s also working on writing/producing and starring in the series “Couch People,” with Sterling Sulieman (“Still Star-Crossed“) and Sunkrish Bala (“Castle“).
The Los Angeles native seemed destined for a career in entertainment.
After catching the acting bug in high school, she made her way into the business as a writer for CBS shortly after graduating from UCLA and from there began hosting programming for CBS Sports, E! News and MSN’s Wonderwall channel.
Realizing acting was her true passion, she quickly landed jobs in TV & film and has worked steadily ever since.
She spends her free time hiking Runyon Canyon with her adorable adopted Pomeranian, Foxy.
