WHAT: Planned Parenthood held its 100th Anniversary on May 2nd in New York City to celebrate one hundred years of care, education, and activism. The event honored Hillary Clinton with the Champion of the Century Award and Shonda Rhimes with the Champion for Change Award. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner a spirited live auction conducted by Simon de Pury and an after party with Questlove as DJ. Artists that generously donated works to the live auction include Dan Colen, Glenn Ligon, Ed Ruscha, Richard Serra, Cindy Sherman, and Lawrence Weiner, among others. The silent art auction will continue till May 18th and is powered by Artsy. Planned Parenthood supporters can participate in the auction by placing bids online.
