QT Sydney Makes Its Mark As An International Fashion Week Hub

This past week,

QT Sydney a Designer Hotel

became the fashion week hub of Australia with its collaboration with popular clothing line Romance Was Born.

The designer boutique hotel joined forces with the fashion brand to throw one of the biggest closing parties of

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.

The label’s designers Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales single-handedly chose to QT Sydney to carry over their vision from the runway to their Fashion Week celebration.

Immediately following the high-octane Electric-Orchid themed show, the hotel’s Gilt Lounge played host to the official after party with a cocktail reception for Sydney’s influential fashion crowd.

The duo’s disco-inspired pop-art floral aesthetic was celebrated with custom cocktails by Etihad, Perrier-Jouet champagne, and Handpicked Wines, and a canape menu designed by QT Hotel’s Creative Food Director, Robert Marchetti.

In addition to hosting the closing party, QT Sydney is showcasing five archival pieces from past Romance Was Born collections in the display cabinets at the ground floor entry this week.

Known for catering to the design and fashion community, QT Sydney has previously hosted fashionistas such as Nicole Richie, Joan Smalls, and Miranda Kerr.
