COCKTAILS were provided by SIENNA SPIRITS, PROSECCO BY PAPI, food by Kimanie & SPECIAL TREATS BY HARLEM BAKED GOODS. Everyone walked away with a much sought-after Laurence Basse Custom Tee. This party marks Laurence’s return to NYC & upcoming fashion show during NYFW in February 2024.
Guests included Models Lene Hall, Shaya Ali, Fashion photographer Jeffrey Gamble, iconic stylist Memsor Kamarake, designer/stylist Carlton Jones, entertainment reporter Josh McBride, fashion editor Chris Collie, entertainment lawyer Kayon White, & Jamaican socialite Pinky Tickled. Legend Monifa Carter gave a powerful rendition of Happy Birthday for the celebrants.

“Saturday night was a reinforcement and display of genuine love and light. That’s the kind of stuff you can’t buy or make up and I owe it to the people in our tribe,” said Farquharson. “A big thank you to everyone who showed up in ways both small and large to make it possible.”

Laurence Basse rose to fame as a contestant on the EMMY AWARD winning show PROJECT RUNWAY (finalist on season 15). SHE designed for NBA superstars DWIGHT HOWARD, SERGE IBAKA and actress GINA RODRIGUEZ wore an original LAURENCE BASSE custom jacket for the cover of LATINA MAGAZINE. During her fifteen-year modeling career, she has appeared in BENETTON, JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER, FRENCH ELLE, & COSMOPOLITAN.
