Duvin Design Unveils Summer ’22 Collection

Duvin Design Co., the Official Uniform of People Who Hate Uniforms, is pleased to unveil the latest collection for Summer 2022, inspired by the design team’s early days spent on the shores of Daytona Beach, Florida. Memories of loud cars cruising up and down the beach, music blaring, folks tanning on the golden sand, dogs barking, checkered flags waving, walls tatted with spray painted graffiti, carnival rides at the pier, dolphins breaching the water, and sunsets washing over the palm trees guide the visuals for the summer. The result, a picturesque throwback archetype of relaxation that has made its way into this vibrant and lively collection for the release of the latest drop by the Internet’s go-to beach brand.

Titled “Duvin Beach Club,” the latest collection offers a captivating warm weather palette with feel-good graphics atop fresh styles that Duvin customers have come to love – soft rayon camp shirts, swim trunks, and ultra-soft tees realized in new and exciting motifs. For Summer ‘22, Duvin has continued to explore their thoroughly modern vision of the 80’s surf aesthetic, with 15 new Camp Shirts, 16 new Swim Shorts, and 18 new T-shirt styles.

This season also sees the debut of new signature shorts to round out the offering. Duvin’s new Fitness Shorts contain a built-in boxer brief liner, and the debut Hybrid Walk Shorts feature an elastic waistband and belt loops built in for amphibious living on land or water. Additionally, the team upgraded their swim material to a thicker fabric that will provide even more durability to last for years to come.

Duvin was started by a group of lifelong friends – Austin Duvall, Garrett Watzka, and Shaun O’Meara – on the balmy beaches of Florida in 2010. With the most popular surf brands historically based in California, the trio realized there was limited representation of the Florida surf scene – a region ripe with interesting history and a unique design philosophy. As native Floridians, this became the brand’s talisman and distinctive point of view, which continues to drive all aspects of the brand voice today.

Duvin collections are produced in Los Angeles and internationally, with custom dyeing handled in Los Angeles and all printing done locally in Orlando. Almost twelve years after producing their first tees, the collection is sold in over 130 retailers across 10 countries and is worn by athletes and celebrities from all walks of life. Though the brand’s ethos is based in a surf lifestyle, it has grown through the years to encompass a growing clientele of all genders, and includes creatives, musicians, skaters, party starters and fashion enthusiasts alike. What started as a product based in surf culture has evolved into a fashion brand that caters to anyone looking to have a good time enjoying the sun.

Go Have a Day.
