Over its 187-year history, Longines has offered an incomparable range of timepiece styles, diverse in form and function, yet always united by elegance and precision.

For Father’s Day this year, find a Longines timepiece tailored precisely to his taste, whether the sporting elegance of the Longines HydroConquest Ceramic, the fascinating legacy of the Longines Heritage Military, or the sophisticated styling of the Longines Master Collection.

Sporting Elegance: The Longines HydroConquest Ceramic

The Longines HydroConquest Collection watches, with their newly updated ceramic bezel, belong to watersport lovers who favor both modern styling and technical performance. Each new Longines HydroConquest Model Ceramic model preserves the traditional style of diving watches, inspired by the unique requirements of the sport.

The collection’s distinctive characteristics include water-resistance to 300 meters, a unidirectional rotating bezel, complete with ultra-scratch resistant ceramic insert, screw-down crown and case back, crown protection, and double security folding clasp with integrated diving extension. The ceramic bezel color coordinates with the dial to reinforce its modern design and sporty identity. The bezel, hands, and markers also feature enhanced Super-LumiNova® that is brighter than ever before, offering a sharp visual contrast to the timepieces’ new grey, black, and blue sunray dials. The bracelet design combines polished and brushed steel for a truly impressive finish.

Fascinating Legacy: The Longines Heritage Military

Those who love history and vintage style will appreciate the Longines Heritage Military, a reissued vintage timepiece inspired by a recovered 1940s Longines vintage watch designed for the British Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War II. An original watch once worn highly decorated radio telegraph operator Stanley Turner found its way to Longines via a collector, and the Swiss watchmaker reissued the 1940s era model as the Longines Heritage Military.

The new reissued timepiece measures 38.5 mm, scaled up from the original 32.5 mm case size. In all other aesthetic respects, the Longines Heritage Military faithfully preserves the original 1940s period details throughout its dial, case, and strap, down to details like the oversized winding crown, originally designed for ease of handling in-flight, and the blued hands that stand out against an opaline dial. Each dial is spattered with a subtle mist of fine black paint droplets by hand to replicate the patina, in a process that is a Longines first and that makes each piece wholly unique. The Longines Heritage Military timepiece also retains the curved, fully polished bezel and box-form sapphire crystal of the 1940s RAF model. The steel case that houses the automatic movement (L888.2) is presented in a special case complete with both a green, aged leather watch strap, a NATO strap in the same tone, and a convenient strap replacement tool.

Sophisticated Styling: Longines Master Collection

A 40mm timepiece from the Longines Master Collection is the gift of choice for those who desire a versatile wristwatch for all occasions. This popular Longines Collection testifies both to the watchmaker’s excellence in manufacture and its well-established classical elegance, presented in a classic combination of lustrous cream “barleycorn” dial with a brown alligator strap. The dial displays the hours, minutes, and seconds in sharp yet subtle relief thanks to its blued-steel hands and bold Arabic numerals, paired with the convenience of a date window. The sophisticated design carries over to the transparent case back, which allows the wearer to fully admire the kinetic interest of the model’s flashing automatic movement.
