FRANCESCO MOTTOLA

During my educational path, the expressiveness of the various visual techniques and the design modality is questioned.
Through this process, the exaggeration is at the base of every concept or idea.
If my desire of being different which came out from the realization of my thoughts, is still not given to the public.
What matters is that the items and its creativity are not seen as simple and conventional but perceived as a true expression of the existence and the projectual concept.
The items are not associated to the common idea of clothing and especially to an aesthetic phenomenon.
The medieval mythological monsters, the ugliness against the conventional beauty, the uncanny, the grotesque and its legacy, the camp and the uncanny fairy tales are all key concepts which define the project for my Bachelor’s degree collection.
