Mykel C. Smith, owner and creative director of Mykel C. Smith Creative (MCSC), hosted the official book launch for model client, Keshia Waldron Cumberbatch on the evening of October 10, 2019. Cumberbatch released a new book titled The Ten Commandments of Becoming a Modelpreneur available online through Amazon. The event took place at the stunning EZ Studios in NYC, with light bites provided by Chef Charlie Marshal of The Marshal and drinks provided by Bartenura.

The open white space at EZ Studios gathered a guest list of 150 exclusive invitees from the fashion and beauty industry. Bartenders and staff were decked out in special track suits designed and provided by sponsor Foraign, giving the chic event a modest and laid-back vibe. Guests were able to enjoy sponsored gifts including beauty creams by Sol De Janiero, an all organic CBD elixir serum from Ojai Energetics, as well as lash samples from beauty brand Cammy Nguyen.

Cumberbatch was styled by Mykel C. Smith, and wore a stunning black couture dress designed by Victor De Souza with accent jewelry provided by LaRucci. Smith wore a Carlton Jones Designs kimono piece with a headpiece designed by LaRucci as well.
