Lela Rose Bridal Spring 2020

Lela Rose presents an extraordinarily elegant bridal collection which combined wedding traditions from the past with gorgeous modern twists.

Presented on the picturesque Pier 62 Carousel in Chelsea, Lela Rose’s Spring 2020 Bridal collection is by far one of the most graceful carousel rides Manhattan has ever seen.

The collection successfully featured age-old bridal traditions of something “Old, borrowed and new” in a fresh perspective that any bride today will adore.

Hollywood glamour and the elegance of Princess Grace inspired the silhouettes of the collection invoking the “old” aspects, while fresh details such as the flirtatious cocktail mini and the oversized detachable organza peony brightened the collection with a modern feel.

Heirloom-inspired brooches added to the “borrowed” aspect of the collection in an absolutely delightful way adding an impeccable touch to the gowns.

A silk and wool belted vest with matching pant named The Monaco and a mini dress with full sleeves also made of silk and wool called The Geneva featured the brooches.

The Highclere, a pleated Chantilly lace long-sleeve gown with a bustier bodice and pearl trim detail was a personal favorite, while the oversized detachable organza peony of The Ashton, and the draped neckline and low back of The Brighton also stood out from the terrific collection.
