We present the collection today opening the LFW calendar, for the whole team it has been a pleasure and an honor to present our Renaître collection in London, designed entirely by Javier Aparici. The collection is inspired by women in the arts and it is a tribute to all of them, renewing the classic patterns, with volumes and betting on the primary colors such as red, yellow and blue. The parade has been carried out in phygital format, that is a combination of physical and digital recorded in Madrid and sent to LFW for worldwide dissemination.
SOHUMAN is a fashion activism platform that allows us to be social entrepreneurs, based on three fundamental pillars that are radical transparency, exceptional quality, and ethical factories. For these reasons, it is why we showed in our website all of our factories, which have undergone a prior quality control process before signing any agreement. Regarding how the idea came about, Javier Aparici who after spending time working in different financial corporations, decided to pursue a different path in his career doing what he likes the most, designing with a cause.
We have managed to introduce persistent messages on television such as “No es No and Yo si Te Creo ” giving fashion a meaning beyond its practical function. We coined the term SO² (Sustainable and Solidarity) and positioned ourselves in strategic points of sale such as Corso Como in Milan or Dover Street Market in London. Our first two collections were presented in a parade at the Royal Spanish Film Archive, with great repercussions from the front row and public, and the second presentation within the MBFWM framework.
Throughout our history, we have achieved different awards that position us as a leading company in the fashion sustainability sector such as:
– Best Fashion Sustainability young
– Tomorrow Starts Today Award organized by Barrabés & Ifema
– Nomination in the absence of deliberation Princess of Girona Foundation Award Solidarity Category
