Suzanne Rae Pelaez continues her commitment to the empowerment of women with her FW18 collection exploring how clothing can challenge social norms, make political statements, and be a part of a revolutionary movement.
In the mood of the current revolution, Pelaez has enlisted several inspiring women to demonstrate the spirit of the collection through portraiture, expressing their stature and social importance through their art and activism.
The portrait series will feature Zora Casebere, Kimberly Drew, Mae Elvis Kaufman, and Maia Ruth Lee.
Each, in her individual way, is part of a civilian army that fights for the acknowledgment, rights and equality of all people.
