Austin Smith, originally from Detroit, Michigan is an artist and designer working in NYC.  Austin’s artistic roots come from a background of printmaking and sculptural garment construction, using printed textiles and 3D elements to create avant-garde costumes.

Through this exploration, as well as Austin’s ties to nightlife in New York City, his fascination for accessorizing through jewelry grew and the brand Austin James Smith was born.
