Paris has always been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for artists.
Ziad Nakad is no exception to the rule and for his big return to the French capital, he decided to do him honor by revisiting Parisian architecture and in particular that of a unique monument in the world, the Pantheon.
The collection is made up of majestic dresses and elegant, modern suits available in colors ranging from chic white to pastel orange, to black which contrasts the delicacy of these shades.
The pieces are structured, the waists defined, and the shoulders adjusted but softened by voluminous or ultra-long sleeves. Finally, the architectural side is accentuated by the embroidery work done by hand in the couturier’s workshops in Beirut.
The geometric designs combined with mosaic-style embroidery echo the very particular architecture of the Pantheon, curves and volumes complete the silhouettes, notably thanks to the use of tulle and silk.
For his return to the catwalk, Ziad Nakad offers a collection that is both grandiose and intimate and succeeds in showing the attachment he has to his two heartfelt cities, Paris and Beirut.
