The Neophyte collection explores themes of Interconnection, Mass Customization, Gender Inclusivity and Design Ecosystems. Questions around product obsolescence are answered through a modular design system. Bag, parts and pieces function together and independently, to form a personal approach to wear and use.

Inspiration Includes: Game Design, Industrial Design, The Internet of Things, artworks by
Sculptor Barbera Hepworth and Futurist Architect Antonio Sant’Elia.

ABOUT

THE DESIGNER

Creative Director Mikhel, hails from the island of Jamaica. As a child his parents encouraged his love of art and design. Which later garnered him a scholarship, to study fashion design at Parsons School of Design. He cultivated his creative philosophy, while designing for American luxury brands, Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Through the years his design ethos built on his diverse and multicultural background and the exploration of gender identity through design.
